Meet the Coaches
George Phipp
George is an all round skater enjoying street, transition and vert - and is happy to share his hints and tips.
With 2 young skating daughters, George passionately believes skateparks are for everyone and this really got him into coaching. George has been actively involved in weskatesoton, all wheels, all abilities, all humans skate community - click the image to find out more.

Lee Gisbourne
Lee started skateboarding in the 80s and after over 25 years off the board, found his way back.
Lee has never forgotten that feeling of first riding a skateboard and became a qualified Skateboard GB coach. Now Lee likes to work with beginners in order to start them on their skateboard journey.
Lee likes 80's skate tricks and mini ramps and is an active member of Skate Southampton - promoting skating across the city.
What do I need to know?
Who can try?
Anyone can try skateboarding all you need need is willingness to try.
Do I need my own safety equipment?
We have used safety equipment that can be borrowed and are happy to offer you advice when looking for your own.
Do I need my own board?
We have a number of skateboards you can borrow. We are happy to offer you advice when looking to purchase your own board.
Types of Session
We like to think we offer a session that is right for you - whether you are looking for a taster session, 121, family session or groups. We love getting beginners onto the board for the first time, build confidence as well as help intermediate skaters progress.
We offer our support at sessions across public and private skateparks around the Southampton area - we come to where you are skating. We have helped skaters out in areas including Bartley (Totton), Woodhouse (Hedge End) and Knightwood (Chandler's Ford).
